Ahmed Gadelmawla entered the Payments industry in 2006 after seeing how often business owners were paying too much to accept payments and struggling to get real answers when something went wrong. He founded ribbonPay in 2021 to give merchants a more knowledgeable, accountable alternative.
Working closely with e-commerce businesses made it clear that payment fees were only part of the problem.
